Theres 109 verses in the Koran that calls upon Muslims to kill and enslave apostates & non-believers like Christians.

Muhammad calls Muslims who refuse Jihad to be traitors and hypocrites. But that is hardly surprising considering the amount of infidel heads and sex slaves he'd taken!

A) People force you to subvert to a certain religion or you get killed (Jihad).
B) People take away your weapons & establish a caliphate that you must submit to, while calling you an evil aggressor (Dhimmis) and stealing your children and forcing them to fight or financing their war through your tax (Jizya).

In the end it comes to the same result which is Islam trying to dominate the world, crusades began after Islam had conquered 2/3rds of the Christian European world. Forcing people to convert isn't somehow better than slaughter as people who look upto Saladin would think! The reason why people bash Islam alot is because it didn't undergo a reformation to remove the violent & slavery passages. Christianity doesn't have a "holy war" text but it they did try and justify it as such.

I can guarantee you that if the Crusades did more than just keep Islamic hordes from overtaking Europe (as they had taken the Middle-East and North Africa), if we had actually beaten Islam then people would be MUCH more pro-white European about history than we are currently. Strength and bravery is very much respected if it is proven right through victory (eg when Muslims claim their rule is peaceful, Christians would say the same thing though we would be slightly more right in that regard since we had less slaves, sex slaves/child brides, anti-christian discriminatory taxes & beheadings than Islam!).
