I wanted to show the trolls this group isn't dead. :)

I found this picture fascinating. Santorum has this boldness, this openness in his face when he speaks. Sometimes he slips up, but he doesn't have that shiftiness so many politicians have.

Yeah, that. And a questionable public policy and a relentless desperation to speak his mind in debates. It's awkward for him to to say that he is not one to impose ideals unto the populous, stating Obama's recent installment of contraception in insurance was a violation of the First Amendment. And yet, Santorum is always attempting to instill Christian values into the system when even George Washington himself stated he never wanted a single religion facilitating the country as a whole. Such a great guy, right?

Yes because Obamas sooo great giving more people food stamps than any president and history and what is so wrong with speaking youre mind? You are doing that know with whatever very small mind you may have. So GTFO this group before you further embarrass youre self.

Please, Patrick. Be polite. You should set a good example. Rick Santorum is always polite, even when people are attacking him directly.

Landmine: define 'questionable public policy'. See, the flaw in the common argument that his views have no place in politics is that he will only get into power if enough of the American people vote him in. Therefore, he gains the consent of the people.

America was founded on basic moral principles derived directly from the Bible. While these principles have been eroded, this fact remains.

That is conservatism: moderation and caution, as well as respect for the principles upon which a nation is founded. A conservative does not change law to please people. A conservative changes law based on unchanging standards of wrong and right.

Many of the founding fathers were deists, not christians. +The US has been one f*cked up country since we were founded. Racism, imperialism, unchained capitalism, espionage, prohibition, you name it. A majority of these were conservative movements(dont give me that "democrats supported slavery" crap either, because southern democrats were the conservative party, and remained so up until Roosevelt) We are in no way a superior nation when it comes down to morals- i don't care what our nation was founded on so long as we remain secular and maintain a balance between social and political rights.
And stop trying to deny people sex-health care. We've gone down that road before and it was ugly and full of teen pregnancy and domesticity...

@Ambient_Malice
Ah, yea, slavery, lynching, sterilization of minors, xenophobia, torture, "patriot acts", foreign wars, outsourcing, corruption, racism, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, redlining, ~hundreds of assassinations, funding dictatorships, overthrowing democracies, arming radicals, and supporting drug cartels...

Most of these took place under CHRISTIAN leadership and conservatives, not atheist/agnostic liberals who according to you have "no morals".
