Please, if a new member join, set their title as C&C Fan, level as Contributor, and check all of the boxed under Add and Edit! The main thing is that everyone gets treated equally and people having fun.
History:
The Command and Conquer Fans group was first founded by Ruby92. Its purpose was to get all of the C&C Fans together in ModDB.com.
Ruby92 didn't do a good job, so Ferkhat took the leadership of the group. It got more popular. March-April 2009, the group type has been changed. It became C&C World. Its now the ModDB.com home of C&C.
On the late days of April, there was a big fight between the leader, ferkhat, and Kee715. They were fighting over the title. Kee715 wanted the 'C&C Fans' title back but ferkhat was really disrespectful and denied it. It came to the end and the title was C&C Paradise. They were friends, and now they are not.
October 1st, 2009. The C&C fans here at C&C Paradise celebrated its very 1st birthday! We are really happy that this group has accomplished everything it faced and bring home-like place for C&C fans in www.moddb.com. C&C Paradise is and will be a home for C&C fans for the future!

Yay... a daunting task for modders to do now... kinda glad but kinda dissapointed...
On a side note, I would at this point much rather see a Generals 2 than what C&C4 appears to be turning out to be. C&C apparently will not go out with a bang but will instead be with the whimpers of dissapointed fans and fired EA Devs. :/
Kinda glad? You're kinda glad people are loosing jobs and not getting money for their families? That's kinda shallow, regardless of what they did to CnC - a video game.
I really don't think it was because of EALA not hitting their marks, I mean EA is also clearing out Maxis (of Sims fame). It probably has more to do with a giant conglomerate becoming too big to manage especially with game sales tanking in the economy.
*sighs*
I misdirected my response... I meant in reference to n5p29 saying "this means, no Generals 2" and how I said that Generals 2 will probably be in the hands of Modders imaginations. That is what makes me have mixed feelings as I personally wanted to see EALA do something more with Generals even if many said that it is a black sheep of the C&C series.
I absolutely had no intention on saying that the people at EALA and the various studios deserve to be fired and that it is funny. Losing a job sucks and being out of work is even worse. I lived that for a year and I do not want to go through that EVER again!
