The Clone Wars have always been, in and of themselves, from their very inception, the revenge of the Sith. They were irresistible bait. They took place in remote locations, on planets that belonged, primarily, to "somebody else." They were fought by expendable proxies. And they were constructed as a win-win situation. The Clone Wars were the perfect Jedi trap. By fighting at all, the Jedi lost. With the Jedi Order overextended, spread thin across the galaxy, each Jedi is alone, surrounded only by whatever clone troops he, she, or it commands.

War itself pours darkness into the Force, deepening the cloud that limits Jedi perception. And the clones have no malice, no hatred, not the slightest ill intent that might give warning. They are only following orders. In this case, Order 66. Hold-out blasters appear in clone hands. ARC-170s drop back onto the tails of Jedi starfighters. AT-STs swivel their guns. Turrets on hovertanks swing silently. Clones open fire, and Jedi die. All across the galaxy. All at once. Jedi die.
-The war was named after the clone troopers utilized by the Republic against the battle droid forces of the CIS. These armies, the Grand Army of the Republic and the Separatist Droid Army, were two of the largest ever pitted against each other in galactic history, and the fighting between them rapidly spread to countless inhabited worlds. Beginning with the First Battle of Geonosis, both sides scored significant victories over the other, and at different times during the war either seemed likely to triumph.

The death of the Confederate Head of State Count Dooku during the Battle of Coruscant and that of the Confederate General Grievous during the Battle of Utapau, coupled with the issue of Order 66 and the deactivation of the droid army, brought an end to the fighting. At the time, it was the largest galactic conflict to date.
-
Unbeknownst to most of those involved, the conflict was started, maintained, and eventually ended by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, whose ultimate goal was the transformation of the Republic into the Galactic Empire with him as Emperor as well as the eradication of the Jedi Order through the Great Jedi Purge. The conflict led to the Order of the Sith Lords controlling the dominant galactic government.

As much it pains me to say it, (XD) I don't think Ahsoka is gonna be killed off. What will most likely happen is she runs off with Lux and doesn't show up until the GCW period.

Maul could be behind all this, but Palpatine has absolutely no way of guaranteeing Maul's loyalty. Unless of course, Palpatine promises Maul he'll help him get revenge on Kenobi...

Maul don't want to kill Obi-Wan but to cause him pain which he did by killing Satine of corse he could always do more though but he seams pleased with what he had done.
Also I'll be so glad when this "mystery" is over so either I'm proven right about how the CW team works or I'm proven wrong.

It would make all the sence in the world if it was Maul but seeing how the Clone Wars Team has worked in the past there is no freaking way they're bringing Maul back already.

This story arc is mind-blowing, wonderful implications. I've been trying to figure out who's that mysterious person, to no avail.

Yeah, he's a sneaky bastard, smart enough to deceive even master Yoda. What makes you think Chancellor would like to eliminate Snips?

I'm not sure, I'd love to write something relevant, but I don't know much about Star Wars.
