Hello fans of Star Wars: BattleCry,
As you know, Lucasfilm and Lucasarts have recently been acquired by Disney.
While, hopefully, this won't affect us, I'd just like to get some stuff clear:
a) We are not referencing character names
b) We are not referencing force powers used in the films
c) We are not making a single cent from production of the game
d) We are promoting the star wars franchise and keeping its fans happy
If any representative from Disney wants to take us down then they will be taking away our freedom to be creative! We are perfectly entitled to do what we are doing considering we will be making nothing at all from this mod.

No seriously, there's no reason for Disney to claim the death of this promising project! It's actually a great publicity for Star Wars (especially for Episode VII)... Anyway, it's not the fault of the fans if Lucasarts has disappointed us the past 2 years with annoying titles (e.g. Star Wars Kinect, TFU2, TOR,...)
Maybe Disney will get LA to finally make a proper TFU3 (like TFU1) and BF3!

I agree, niether of the team members are gaining any kind of profit. We just want to do what lucas arts refuses to.

we must keep big companies away from killing great fan made content. usually its the mean and terrible companies like WB. which reminds me please support MERP which is under attack by WB, just search ModDB.
I signed the petition to save MERP. I'd encourage everyone to do the same.
I think there's no problems for this:
Using character names
Using force powers used in the films
And movie bits or OST
Since it is a non commercial project ;) .
