Description

Set five months before the Battle Of Coruscant in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge Of the Sith, the Star Wars: Obsession series was published by Dark Horse as a lead in to Revenge of the Sith and as part of the Clone Wars Multi-Media Project. These 5 Issues follow Obi-wan on his relentless quest to find Asajj Ventress, who months earlier had captured him and tortured him in her palace on Rattatak, Not for revenge but because he senses that there is still good in her, confirmed by the tales he heard during his imprisonment.

Sadly, like so many other great stories of the Clone Wars Multi-Media Project, Star Wars: Obsession was reticonned in the wake of the 2008 Clone Wars CGI animated series.

Fun fact: the writer for Star Wars: Obsession, Hayden Blackman, was also the head developer of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and Star Wars Galaxies until he resigned from his position in 2010.

Because of laziness, I've only scanned issues 3 through five o the Star Wars: Obsession series. If you want to read the first 2 issues, I suggest purchasing the Omnibus: Clone Wars Volume 3 or if you can track down the first 2 issues by themselves then by all means go for it.
