This group is exactly what the name implies. A group for people who are Christians. If you're a Christian then please join us. We're a place on ModDB for Christians to gather and talk. It's as simple as that.

(NOTE: This is not a group for the bashing, belittling, or debunking of other people's beliefs).

Peace be with you.

Well I watched Heaven Is for Real, it was not really a Christian film at all. Of course... Hollywood.

I have a proposition. I would gladly make a group and make the head of this group a Co-admin for those who wish to converse on religious matters and share content for those of all faiths, as well of course, those such as me lacking any. No blatant insults, or plainly offensive material would be allowed, and of course there would be an admin for every religion which is apart of this group I am proposing.

Yes, I am serious.

If this is a group for all faiths, then I'm all for it. There are more than a few MODDB users who have yet to find a group for their religion here (wiccans, pagans, etc)

Oh so NOW you are open to such a thing after having responded to my answers with hatred and contempt? He's just doing this so he can try to talk people out of following God and spread more atheist lies. May you be unfruitful in your attempts. If you were truly interested you would not have responded the way you did in the first place. Enough said.

Do you mean a group that would cover things like "Why" we follow certain beliefs, and evolution Vs. creation?

Believe it or not, but I was about to suggest that on the atheist group, lol.

Yes, I'd be willing to be a part of that, as I do have some questions for non-believers, and I am of course willing to answer questions of my own regarding Christianity ;)

Psalm 92
A Psalm. A Song for he Sabbath Day.
It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most
To declare Your lovingkindness in the
And Your faithfulness every night,
On an instrument of ten strings.
On the lute,
And on the harp,
With harmonious sound.
For You, Lord, have made me glad through
Your work;
I will triumph in the works of your hands.

O Lord, how great are your works!
Your thoughts are very deep.
A senseless man does not know,
Nor does a fool understand this.
When the wicked spring up like grass,
And when all the workers of iniquity flourish,
It is that they may be destroyed forever.

But You, Lord, are on high forevermore.
For behold, Your enemies, O Lord,
For behold, Your enemies shall perish;
All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox;
I have been anointed with fresh oil.
My eye also has seen my desire on my
My ears hear my desire on the wicked
Who rise up against me.

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those who are planted in the house of the
Shall flourish in the courts of our God,
They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
To declare that the Lord is upright;
He is my rock, and there is no
unrighteousness in Him.

Please post responses to the link I am about to post. It leads to the non-believers' group and they are in need of some serious saving. The image is a perfect window through which we can explain our faith. Please take the time to comment.

Yuribeat5, I know you feel strongly about this, but are you sure invading their board is necessary? I mean, they have their group to congregate, we have ours. And a person may be better connected with their faith when they seek it on their own.

I completely agree with Jm_Scion, yelling at people that they will burn if they don't listen to you has never ever helped anyone convert. Annoying people into hating you is the best way to make sure people will nver come to christ.
Yuribeat5 please leave the people alone, if they want the message they will seek it out. YOU CANNOT FORCE FAITH ON TO SOMEONE THEY MUST FIND IT ON THERE OWN.

@Deer_Hunter: You must really not like me much since you are always trying to discredit me and and then blow things out of proportion. How about actually reading your Bible so that you will see that I am doing as we were commanded to do. Burying one's head in the sand and not saying anything is NOT the way.

what did you not like my little comment about barking dogs ? I have no ill will for you personally or anybody else, i just don't support your methods which I see as crude and more detrimental than helpful to the cause. You have to remember the crusades and inqusition ended along time ago, and ended for a good reason. If you preach you should preach as jesus did, through love, peace and kindness not through fire and damnation, because it clearly doesnt work.

We are supposed to correct such things as believers are we not? We are commanded to do so by God's Word and I intend to do as He says. If I am unable to get through then I will pray for them. I ask for assistance because I need it and we are also commanded to do so.

ABJECT_SELF Sep 15 2011, 8:10pm replied:

I don't believe we're supposed to "correct" anybody's faith. I believe we should share this world with all matter of religions, even lack thereof. God is a complex entity, and there's much we can learn by accepting those who view Him differently, or don't view Him at all.

Yuribeard7 Sep 16 2011, 7:31am replied:

We are to be in the world but not a part of it. That is what we are commanded. There are no different views of God, just what He has said and not what other people "think". The Bible is God's Word and what God says goes with no room for opinions. He said how we are to do things in a particular way no ifs, ands or buts. That may sound zealous to you but it is the truth plain and simple.

Actually a lot of the twelve tribes of Israel were exterminated as a wrath of God because they lived among pagans and in some cases even mixed culture and religion.
I do think we must spread the Word, but I see no reason to annoy anti-believers publicly above spreading the Word in general.

Yuribeard7 Sep 16 2011, 5:24pm replied:

Yes, but there is still a remnant from each tribe and that is what is prophesied to return to the Holy Land. Right now only two are present in the land in addition to everyone else living there. We are just waiting for the remaining ten to return from exile. In the mean time we should support the country Israel as a means to support that actual Hebrews that are from that land. Sadly the USA and the rest of the world are turning on them. However, that was prophesied too and it just means we are one more step closer to what we all know is going to happen. I don't look forward to the Tribulation, (what sane person would) but its what comes after that gets me so excited and anxious. As for talking to non-believers; I don't care if the truth annoys them. As long as there is one chance in a thousand that I'll find someone who is interested or someone who just really needs to hear God's Word I'll keep doing what I do. Mind you this website is not the only place I serve as a witness and do my work for God.
