A question:
Who and/or what is the devil? Your opinions?

There are no opinions. There is what God has told us and warned us about. Faith in God means to believe what He says and He said what Satan is. Thats good enough for me.

Satan means opposer and was simply the title for many (human and demon) who opposed God. Lucifer is the name of The Devil and he never came here alone. Other angels came with him according to The Book of Enoch.

Knight, the book of Enoch and Genesis chapter 6, you mean Semyaza and other angels, so-called sons of God, that have taken earthly women as their wives? The Watchers? They seem to had been a different kind, just like giants (Goliath) and other beings that are said to be wicked.

But who's the Lucifer? Can you tell that? What is he? Who is he? What is he doing? What is his purpose here if there are so many other wicked people and unclean spirits?

KnightofEquulei Oct 23 2011, 7:04pm replied:

The Book of Enoch states that the archangels imprisoned them in chains beneath the earth though. The "giants" were mortal.

Lucifer is one of the fallen. His purpose is to get as many people as he can to rebel against God and he's doing an excellent job at that.

More birth pains coming right up! Earthquakes getting closer and closer together like "birth pangs" just as it is written. One more thing I must say is that they should not have betrayed Israel. The wrath of God burns hot against those that seek to do harm to His people. May they and others come to their senses before more lives are tragically lost. Pray that this causes more people to realize what is happening.

What is happening? God Creator, Preserver and Destroyer is inside us. It all could be changed if you set your thoughts to positivity and love and send them all to everybody, and pray for mercy for people.

Thats that New Age blasphemy and it has no place here. Humans are not gods and our thoughts do not shape reality. YHVH is God and Creator and it is He whom we pray to. All these things going on were predicted in the Bible and its no coincidence that every single nation or people that has raised their hand against Israel (born or grafted in) has suffered greatly and ultimately ceased to exist in the end.

Israel is dead. It is the actions of man that God cares about. God destroyed Israel plenty of times because they shattered their covenant with him. Christ said that when he returns, he will be building a new Temple and Kingdom. There will be no Israel.

Jeremiah 31:31-34

Colossians 1:21-23

God's covenant with Israel was simply for them. The covenant of Christ is for the entire world. God will forgive the people of Israel, true but God's kingdom will be for people of all nations and they will become one with God.

Christ's blood sealed the new covenant.

And who taught you this blasphemy? Read the entire Bible and be proven wrong by God's Word. God did not destroy Israel He scattered them throughout the nations just as He said He would. Anyone who teaches otherwise contradicts God's Word. The "new covenant" was just the "old covenant" renewed. Nothing was changed and all is still relevant. Israel still exists in their homeland and scattered abroad and they are slowly returning to the homeland. Nowhere in the Bible does it say there will be no more Israel and nowhere does it say there was a covenant just for them and a covenant for everyone else. Jeremiah 31:31-34 says that He will renew His covenant with them and "write it on their hearts". This means it is still relevant and will be then. We are grafted into the vine of Israel when we come into the faith. Colossians 1:21-23 has nothing to do with what you said.

He destroyed Israel plenty of times. There is no "renewed" covenant. God made a new covenant because Israel broke the old covenant. The Bible even says "new" and not "renewed".

Deuteronomy 31:16 is just a prediction of what they will do. It is still written elsewhere that He will scatter them (not utterly destroy them) and then they will return from exile later.

Isaiah 24:5 you have presented out of context. Read 24:1-6. It just says that the land will be cursed after they have been cast out of it.

Hosea 6:7 you twisted by deliberately ignoring what is written before it starting with 6:1. They are declaring their desire to return to the Lord and it says that He will restore them.

You still have nothing to prove your statement against Israel. I warn you to choose your next words very carefully for nobody speaks out against God's chosen people without bearing serious consequences in the end. You need to get away from whatever garbage you have been taught by the Catholic church and see a rabbi, torah teacher or some other messianic teacher that has his facts straight and knows what he's talking about. I recommend Monty Judah. He's a great teacher.

Before anyone else interjects and tries to accuse me of hatred try reading your Bibles too, it will back me up and show that all I speak is what is written. This includes Old Testament as well as New. Knight needs to be corrected and freed of this nonsense that directly contradicts what the Bible says. Do not quench the Holy Spirit! Peace be with you.

Deuteronomy 31:16 is God's WORD. You say I disbelieve in his word but you doubt his capabilities. It wasn't just a prediction, it's what God knew and he's never wrong. This was proven right when Israel turned to worshiping pagan gods.

You are also wrong about Isaiah 24:5 and Hosea 6:7. I presented the verses as they are. In one of the articles you posted, you said that you don't need to interpret The Bible. Yet you are doing it here to make it look like these verses mean different from what they clearly say.

Israel has betrayed God. There is no holiness left in Israel. You're not really following the new laws set by Christ are you? I'm not Catholic and I don't even go to Church. As an Arian, the only Church for me is Christ himself. I listen to what The Bible says. You listen to rabbis. What I speak is what The Bible says. They are its' verses, nothing more, nothing less.

Is there even holiness left on this earth? Nope. That is why God is building a new heaven and a new earth.

Revelation 21:1
Revelation 21:3-5

If you want to follow the Old Covenant. Then remember that you need to give sin offerings in the form of animals and burn them. Not even the Jews themselves practice this tradition anymore.

Christ is the new covenant. There is no need to follow the old. When Christ said that he had not come to change the law, he was speaking of the 10 commandments which are everlasting commands for humanity.

Hebrews 8

"By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear." - Hebrews 8:13

High Priest = Jesus
New Covenant = Blood of Jesus spilled for our salvation.

I think this clears up our debate about The Old Covenant.

Israel is always part of God's plan, the entire world is. Whether they accept God, that's another matter.

Israel has no place that could call "holy", and it seems to be very secular even now.
