(NOTE: This is not a group for the bashing, belittling, or debunking of other people's beliefs).
Peace be with you.
After a discussion between MattmanDude, CrazyOldTeenager, and myself, a short (but to the point) series of rules will now be coming into effect for this...
Basileus Basileon Basileuon Basileuonton. Translated as "king of kings, ruling over rulers"
Just a message from an old wanderer passing through.
Lot of information for new recruits packed into a mere article. Also has three medal of honor soundtracks to listen too while reading if you want. Enjoy.
Your new order of business now that you are a member of the Grand Army of the Lord Jesus Christ.
@yuribeat5 Who appointed you a judge of what is blasphemy and what is not?
I didn't judge at all. If you consider actually following what the Bible says and trying to adhere to its standards "judging" then thats your problem not mine. I would appreciate it if you weren't trying to twist my words into something they aren't. By the way, I know what you were talking about because I have seen you do it before and by God's own definition what you stated IS blasphemy. "The kingdom of heaven is within you" does not mean that God and the power is within us because we are not gods, we are mere human beings and have absolutely zero power over this universe and what makes it tick. The power lies solely with God and God alone has the ability to destroy, heal or change. If I'm going to be judged as insane or "religious" for believing in the power of God and His word then so be it. But know this: I speak only what is written and not a single word I speak or have spoken comes from my own opinion, definition or judgement. It comes straight out of the Bible and nothing anyone else says can change that. Everything I have said can already be found in Biblical scripture and I do not take credit nor do I make anything up. I know what I know because I read my Bible EVERY DAY and I have an excellent teacher. You may accuse me, you may insult me and you may even question my faith but don't you EVER insult God in front of me by claiming something that contradicts God's very word. Now can we please end this discussion already.
1 John 3:2
No. We can't do what God can do but we are of God and made from him.
^- this. Also, if not for God, we wouldn't exist at all. God's will and power upkeeps everything and everybody, for everything and everybody is a being of Light, molecules and compounds of Light.
Therefore we're gods and luminous beings in our own right, but below angels and higher beings, and responsible and answerable to appropriate higher powers and - above all - to The One that is the Highest.
No we are not gods we are mere human beings made of flesh, soul and spirit and have no power. God has the power and any power we may SEEM to have is actually from God and not ourselves.
I would join this arguement, but I see it is piontless.
so I will just say this, christ said not to judge, only the judge can judge and the judge only judges those who are no longer on this earth.
I put my faith in that judge is a fair judge.
Its not what you think anyway. He's just trying to manipulate the situation to make me look like I'm the one at fault just because I spoke God's truth.
I quote from The Bible only and feillyne has only quoted from The Bible too. No one is twisting anything in my opinion. As you once said, The Bible doesn't need to be interpreted. You called yourself the Messenger of God as though God himself appointed you as that. That's what feillyne was calling you out on.
Who appointed you a messenger of the Judge then?
Not even Christ came to judge and not judged anybody, not at all.
Interesting how you conveniently left out the rest of the discussion so that it would look like I was saying something other than what I really am saying.
But what he said was right. Jesus didn't even judge anyone nor did he dare too. God is the only judge. If Jesus came to judge us, it would have been a different story.
Thats not what the debate is about. He came here with that "Gos is us, self, blah blah blah" and I called it blasphemy and then he accused me of judging when what I said is true.
He said "What is happening? God Creator, Preserver and Destroyer is inside us. It all could be changed if you set your thoughts to positivity and love and send them all to everybody, and pray for mercy for people." Thats an entirely untrue statement that claims the power is within us and that God doesn't actually exist as we believe but only inside us because we are "little gods" according to the doctrine of the religion he's spouting.
So you say yourself that you're just bones and flesh and nothing more?
Will you learn some day that we are who we are? We are what we are. And we are that we are? And our bodies are only temples of God that should be impeccable and kept clean from "wrongdoings" that perhaps we all should find about ourselves.
Humans are more than just their physical bodies, they're also minds and spirits.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
It's not quoted here to point out "people" at all, but attributes. See:
"having a form of godliness but denying its power" - so it seems this sentence suggests that people SHOULD accept godliness and holiness as a part of their lives to be truly holy instead of rejecting it.
Our bodies are holy and are meant to be temples. People go to Church and pray but they forget that they themselves are the Churches which The Holy Spirit inhabits. The Church is more than stone, it is us. That's the reason I don't bother going Church on Sunday or at all really. There's no need.
Who and/or what is the devil? Your opinions?
There are no opinions. There is what God has told us and warned us about. Faith in God means to believe what He says and He said what Satan is. Thats good enough for me.
Satan means opposer and was simply the title for many (human and demon) who opposed God. Lucifer is the name of The Devil and he never came here alone. Other angels came with him according to The Book of Enoch.
Knight, the book of Enoch and Genesis chapter 6, you mean Semyaza and other angels, so-called sons of God, that have taken earthly women as their wives? The Watchers? They seem to had been a different kind, just like giants (Goliath) and other beings that are said to be wicked.
But who's the Lucifer? Can you tell that? What is he? Who is he? What is he doing? What is his purpose here if there are so many other wicked people and unclean spirits?
The Book of Enoch states that the archangels imprisoned them in chains beneath the earth though. The "giants" were mortal.
Lucifer is one of the fallen. His purpose is to get as many people as he can to rebel against God and he's doing an excellent job at that.
