This group is exactly what the name implies. A group for people who are Christians. If you're a Christian then please join us. We're a place on ModDB for Christians to gather and talk. It's as simple as that.
I hope Mattman doesn't delete this image. It makes a good sarcastic point against those teenager atheists who have complained of being "dragged to Church" for one Sunday as if it's oppression whilst the parents feed them, cloth them and provide a roof over their head.
Atheist and pope? The only "pope" I can think for that is the Doritopope of mountain dew. I hear doritos and mountain dew is big in the atheist community.
This image represents a quite considerate couple that looks after their kids. I guess some people take it for granted. And those who lost it would give anything to experience this sort of warmth, safety and love again. Some people lost it... in some way - Youtube.com I guess you become a rebel when you lose something and you want it back at all costs. Some things are lost forever. :(
Whoever posted this image clearly doesn't realize what family is or that person is a spoiled brat. Old-fashioned parents used belts to make a point(mostly an idle threat to make a point). Some parents deserve respect, and if you have a family like that, you should count yourself lucky. Your parents may simply vanish into thin air, figuratively of literally someday - Youtube.com And it's always good to have a caring parent and friends that somehow become a part of your family.
As for the Church part. I used to visit this institute and I prayed. There's more to it... Now I rarely go to Church, I still see same people there kneeling and praying... some people there truly believe, others go there to socialize in some way. An empty Church is a mere building, but when people gather there, it becomes a temple of God, one of many.
When I was little, I used to ardently believe... it just changed over time. Maybe now I'm starting to believe again, although in a different manner. People find their faith and lose it only to find it again... some people have a fate like that.
Some people call me an Atheist, while I'm simply an individual that doesn't cling to titles. Those names don't represent the essence of who I am. Maybe the name Veronica will make you think of me in a different way.
If i may, there is there not a Biblical directive to "Train up your child in the way that he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it?"
I'm actually beginning to think this guy is a real atheist and not a poe...
Nonetheless, he's still hilarious. He should be a comedian...

i hope not either. And when you said, "poe", don't you mean, pope?

*shouts over to the OP*
Ain't that right λpone?
Shhhhhh! He's sleeping. Let's give the child some rest. Bless his cute "wittle" soul....the angel.
*kisses λpone's head and walks out, closes door quietly*
Hey, KnightofEquuelei, what do you think he is dreaming about? His success at crushing Christianity I suppose, or something? XD
@Knight
I'm not going to delete it, relax lol.

Pfft.
I view parents taking their children to church like parents insisting their kids eat their vegetables.
It's for their own good, but when they get older they don't have to anymore
