Nope, the hypocrisy of this is terrible. For instance you show the dude with signs saying "Thank God for aids." You claim he is evil. But yet I'm sure there is some part in his brain saying he is 100% right. (I'm not saying he is.) But you are calling him evil for his opinion. You also dismiss science as being considered evil. (Which I believe is not, but that doesn't mean it isn't.) There is a line between what is good, and what is evil. We learn this line not by confiding in each other, but confiding in the word of God. We can't go past biasness, "every man does what is right in his own eyes." Things like abortion, I can't respect people who agree with it, just like I can't respect rapists. There is a line between what is good and what is evil. Trying not to be bias is just as bad as being bias. When you aren't being bias you are allowing beliefs contrast to what you actually believe is true. All this does is hide what you actually want to believe in. To be honest, I don't want to respect rapist or abortionists, because then I give away a little to them in my heart. If I know what I believe is true is true. And someone else believes in something evil. I'm not going to respect that. Because that only makes it more tolerable. I may be wrong, but hey this is my opinion. And if you think we should all get along and respect each others opinions, then respect mine. Just know that I don't have to respect yours. One thing I know, I wouldn't want to get along with Hitler.

The point of this image is that both science and religion CAN be evil. Not that either one inherently is.

And that man holding a sign saying "Thank God For Aids" is effectively thanking God that people die a horrible, painful death from that disease. Now he's probably saying this because he is against homosexuality. I understand that, as a Christian I believe it is a sin myself. However, that doesn't mean you should be glad for a person dying a horrible, painful death. So yes, I certainly do think that man is evil if he's glad for that.

Hate the sin. Not the sinner.

You say that you wouldn't want to go along with Hitler... well that's part of the point of the image? That even someone claiming to be religious can be evil.

You say that it's wrong to be biased and wrong not be biased. An interesting concept.

Well I simply try not to judge other people, but I am myself biased to my own faith and beliefs of course. All I want is for people on all sides of the argument to stop their hate mongering for one another. And that's a belief you can't respect? I'm a bit surprised and taken a back by that.

Oh also... you condemn this image for calling that aids guy evil for his opinion (which he is), and yet then you condemn myself and anyone that agrees with me for our opinion, and then state that you do not respect it.

Irony... you haz it.

I think the point he was trying to make had to do with God commanding us to be different from the rest of the world and commanding us to not behave like the world. We are not supposed to tolerate what God does not tolerate and we are not supposed to respect what God does not respect. We are to love eachother, but that doesn't mean we have to tolerate the wickedness and the other beliefs that are contrary to God's word.

I'm not certain that this was the point Uraikus was trying to make, it just looked that way to me.

Thats not the point. the point is that both science and religion have evil people within them. You're part of the problem

Says the hate-mongering atheist.

Anyway, we were talking about what Uraikus said.

Hate mongering, no. I just have this fancy internet mask, so I might as well use it to halfassedly throw my opinions at all of you and see what happens. It's good fun.

Nothing is Evil. Nothing is Good. Everything has various shades of Grey to it. Learn that and never again will anyone be able to call you close-minded.
