Now, I get why folks like to try to keep the Bible out of schools (thought preventing students from reading on their own is wrong)... but still... this is pretty ironic.
What about you guys? Thoughts on Bibles being allowed in schools?
I read the bible in school, is it really not allowed?(on my own free time that is)
It's not a law yet, but a lot school's have set-up rules that prevent taking Bibles onto school property.
A lot of folks are trying to make it federal law in the US though.
Well apparently it's legal in the US to read The Bible and pray in your own time there if you want to.

If a school is really saying no one can take in a Bible (to read at break or whatever) then it's breaching human rights, according to the site above.
Agreed, KnightofEquulei. Thats why I find this picture totally misleading.
That's what ends up happening when people view Christianity as harmful to society:(
I should probably explain that a bit. So first is how destructive hate speech has been to us Youtube.com That Gandhi quote sums it up perfectly. Secondly society has accepted evolution instead of creation despite evidence for the biblical account. Youtube.com Youtube.com Of course there are other issues at work as well but those are the main ones and unfortunately the people against Christianity chose to be ignorant of its meaning.
What I mean by that is that they look at stuff like Biblegateway.com and instantly jump to the conclusion that the bible is against women teaching in a Church, they don't even for a second consider the entire picture Youtube.com There is so many things wrong with this world and those seem to be the main roots of why this is happening.
I felt I needed to share that:)
