This picture reminds me of a dream I once had. I was in some sort of colony settlement on Mars. Just laying there thinking about God, my journey as a Catholic, and how sick and awesome the view looked.

I was laying back, floating, hands interlocked behind my head, looking up through a big window, with the night sky. I was wearing my favorite hood, and my Cross. It is so detailed, because I have thought about this dream more than once, ha.

Anyway, I am a Catholic. I always have been, always will be. I read the description. Those are beautiful words. God bless you Pope Francis. And to anyone who reads this, my God bless you, too.

Description

I'll admit I'm not a fan of the papacy since I'm not a Roman Catholic, nor ever have been. Although that doesn't prevent me from sparing an ear.

Here's something I thought good to share from Pope Francis.

“There is no perfect family. We have no perfect parents, we are not perfect, do not get married to a perfect person, neither do we have perfect children.

We have complaints about each other. We are disappointed by one another. Therefore, there is no healthy marriage or healthy family without the exercise of forgiveness. Forgiveness is vital to our emotional health and spiritual survival. Without forgiveness, the family becomes a theatre of conflict and a bastion of grievances. Without forgiveness, the family becomes sick.

Forgiveness is the sterilisation of the soul, cleansing the mind and the liberation of the heart. Anyone who does not forgive has no peace of soul and communion with God. Pain is a poison that intoxicates and kills. Maintaining a wound of the heart is a self-destructive action. It is an autophagy.

He who does not forgive sickens physically, emotionally and spiritually. That is why the family must be a place of life and not of death; an enclave of cure not of disease; a stage of forgiveness and not of guilt. Forgiveness brings joy where sorrow produced pain; and healing, where pain caused disease.”

There is much that can scar and grieve one in this life. Please, remember to forgive.
