After all this time it's official, Black ops 1 and Black ops 3 will be receiving a zombies Radiant. Each game will now have the ability to host custom maps created by the community, while each Call of Duty title will attain these Mod Tools from different developers, they will have the same usage.
Black ops 1 was given Mod Tools long ago, yet only launched with a way to edit the game in ways of scripts, weapons, and basically everything except make custom maps. Now, a community 3rd party developer known as SE2DEV and his unknown partner, have teamed up to create a actually Radiant for Black Ops 1, giving everyone the ability to use mods easily, and create more than possible before! Currently, these tools are not released, but are slated for a late 2016 release around December due to the tools still being in development. SE2DEV has said he wishes to release before the bo3 mod tools launch to the public.
Black ops 3 was announced by Treyarch to receive Mod Tools and a new Radiant, titled "Black Radiant". The Black Radiant is said by public Alpha testers to be easy to use, and much, much more advanced than World at War ever was! The tools are going to give the community the ability to develop custom maps for all modes present in Black ops 3, including ZOMBIES! Black ops 3 mod tools are also slated to release by the end of this year, around the time the Black ops 1 mod tools are released.
So now, we have quite a bit of choosing to do! Play Black ops 1 custom zombies in the future, or Black ops 3 custom zombies! Personally, I'm going to do both quite often, and never will I stop playing World at War zombies as well. Call of Duty World at War has brought us at least 8 years of custom zombies fun on user created maps, we've played so many unique maps that it's mind blowing. It's a part of my childhood for sure, because I can remember being 11 years old, and thinking back to watching custom zombies on my old dinosaur PC, and wondering how it's possible. (Back then I thought it was through console modding! LOL) I remember watching the maps and thinking, "WOW! I want to do this kinda stuff! I want to play on maps people made!" and eventually I managed to buy a laptop and play it myself. And it's been nothing but great memories and fun!

I want to do a remake of Der Riese with new areas and such, but that will be done before my remake of Doom 3.

I myself am quite excited, I want to see a black ops 1 version of leviathan, revelations using the moon jump pads for jumping to the other islands except that they'll be different maps from other dimensions other than origins and stuff, a remake of sniper elite's Folterschloss which was also like the map der eisendrache.
