Activision has made an official confirmation that Nintendo gamers would not be left out of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 experience, citing that a Wii version of the popular military first-person shooter is in development at Black Ops studio Treyarch.Today, Activision social media manager Dan Amrich added another Nintendo platform to the twisted list of Modern Warfare 3 recipients, stating that the game would also making its way to the company’s legacy handheld system, the DS, with n-Space is the one who is responsible handling the game development duties. The project is not the first of it’s kind on Call of Duty franchise for n-Space. The studio is well tasked with adapting the hit series to the portable, having previously produced the well-received handheld version of Black Ops, as well as DS editions for Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare: Mobilized, and World at War. That’s not all, their parent company, Activision also handing out to the studio for the DS versions of the James Bond games Blood Stone 007 and GoldenEye 007.Although n-Space has set their eyes on licensed tie-ins and ports in recent years, the company has a number of notable original titles to its portfolio. In 2005, the studio launched the GameCube supernatural action game Geist and had previously released original PlayStation-era games like Danger Girl, Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes, and Die Hard Trilogy 2: Viva Las Vegas.Despite that, the developer is running out of cash last year and cut off much of its team after a licensor pulled out of a deal. However, n-Space has appeared to set their foot again, with Modern Warfare 3, Jaws: Ultimate Predator for the 3DS and Jillian Michaels Fitness Adventure for the Xbox 360 all set to release this year.
