This is how you use a batch file to launch your CNC3 mods...
Posted by Smallchange on Dec 23rd, 2009
Basic Other.
Step 1. Make a new .txt file in your CNC3 game folder
Step 2. Open it and paste this into it:
64 bit users:
@ECHO OFF
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3\CNC3.exe" -modconfig "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3\MODNAME.SkuDef"
32 bit users:
@ECHO OFF
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3\CNC3.exe" -modconfig "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3\MODNAME.SkuDef"
Note 1: You have to change the Modname.skudef to the EXACT name of the skudef file that came with the mod.
Note 2: You will have to change the addresses if you installed your game to a different folder than the default.
Note 3: Some peaple add the word pause after the text, IT IS NOT NECCESSARY.
Step 3. Save the .txt file.
Step 4. Rename the .txt file to, the MODNAME.bat
Step 5. Then, place all of the files the mod requires into you CNC3 game folder
Step 6. Finally, Right click on the batch file and go to send to and send to "Desktop Create Shortcut" and there you go you are finished, to play the game just open the shortcut.
