Background

Field Medics have been used by tactical and non- tactical armies since the beginning of recorded war history. The first mass deployment of Medics was done by the Allied Forces during World War 2 being in need of healing their troops after battles against the Soviet Union's army. The Medics returned as a tactical battlefield unit in the Second Tiberium War by GDI, as the need of healing wounded soldiers and curing Tiberium illnesses arose. The Medics were discharged after the war and served their duties inside GDI Barracks. A GDI unit that didn't stop using Medics was the Zone Operations Command, which had to deal with Tiberium- based illnesses that had to be cured immediately, but the Medics still weren't used by the other GDI units in the battlefield.

By the start of GDI's counterattack in TW3, GDI faced many casualties in infantry opperations, because of being cut off from the bases and any kind of medical care. The GDI Council decided to use Medics as the ZOCOM did, since the casualties of ZOCOM forces were 20% less than the average GDI personel casualties. The Medics were put into a squad for healing faster. Once they came close to a wounded allied infantry squad, they'd heal it, either they were hurt or affected by Tiberium illnesses. They could also deploy into a Field Hospital which was outfitted with state-of-the-art medical equipment for healing any kind on infantry really fast. They also had their own communications system, and they could connect with the HQ and request soldier reinforcements to replace dead squad members and get the squads back into full numbers.

"Medic Squads can be trained at the Barracks. They can heal wounded infantrymen even while they fight. But when their healing is just not enough, they can build up a Field Hospital, which brings the best medical care a soldier can receive in the battlefield. A steady supply of new infantrymen flows to the Field Hospital to make squad replenishing into full numbers possible. The Medics can also heal each other, which makes them hard to kill using basic rifles, although more advanced anti personel weapons can lethaly damage a Medic Squad. The Medics are weaponless and they are number 1 protection priority alongside MCVs and Engineers."

HEAL FASTER!
The Medic Squad's healing ability makes them really hard to kill with T1 basic infantry, and it's much harder killing infantry squads being healed by them while fighting. They can also heal while on the move, making them able to walk in Tiberium almost unharmed by it. But their healing rate is not really fast, taking some time for even a mere Rifleman Squad to be healed, and that's why the Field Hospital exists.

We get problems with GDI. because the new version isn't out yet we're running out of GDI units... next will be better though, then its NOD's turn.
(we can make videos of the other units if we have 1.5)
