its the original model that EA use for the gattling tank
but why they make this unit by butchering CC3 Predator instead making a whole new unit?

LOL I still think the design looks closely similar to the TDR Ontos Tank Moddb.com minus the armaments.
Not really. It's a predator with 2 small gattling-type weapons. Pretty simple to extrapolate that.
Accidental similarity, or a design theft? What do you think?
Well, considering that that image was uploaded in February, coupled with the fact that cnc4 has been in development for a year, and given that several vehicles in cnc4 use the predator chassis. I would have to say that there is only a smidgen of accidental similarity. I mean, putting 2 gattling cannons on the side isn't exactly a novel idea in gaming.
What is curious, however, is that the texture is strikingly similar to Renegades. Stealing Renegade textures, are we?
