5 years before the third tiberium 3 nod factions (2 were allied agianst the other one) battled for control of the abandoned oil pipes which could be still used to transport variours fuels & petrols all over the region but who ever wanted to control these pielines would have to have firm control over this area.

Thus this battle occured over 50,000 troops died in the bloody battle with general markson (cyan) a second tiberium war veteran turned rogue being the victor unfortunately a few months after his victory his was quickly subued by loyalist kane forces & once a agian forced to swear alliengence
