This image should be one of the early concepts for the Avatar, as it is found on the Avatar file of the downloadabale sample art from commandandconquer.com MOD SDK Extras. I prefer the one ingame, this kinda reminds me the Empire of the Rising Sun but thiner.
Nah this looks nothing like the Empire. IMO it looks more alien then the current one.
was this concept for the CnC3 avatar? I like the final one better.
It's ugly, but still better than "4" one :P
hey, if this unit polished more a little bit, it still can be a nice unit.

Simply terrible. Horrible.
Ok so they once made a ****** concept like this one but then made it an awesome model in the final product. So why did EA made a ****** model of it in CnC4? S:
it must be one of the exceptions. usually, EA has awesome artwork but screws things up in the final prodact, the C&C3 Avatar was the opposite.
And just when they had something awesome, they derailed it and made it even more shittier X_x
What were does doofuss designers thinkin'?
I like this design but I do not see it as an Avatar.
It is more of an intermediate Mech.
Something between a Wolverine and a Titan in Scale and Role.
Kind of an update of the Nod Mech Concept Art from Tiberian Dawn.
That Mech shared 2 Arm Weapons like this one as well as Two top mounted Weapons (on a Turret unlike this one)
