behold, the cry legionnaire: one of few stuff that EA made which i actually loved in RA3 uprising.
i guess everyone by now is already familiar with this guy. the cry legionnaire is a twist of RA2's chrono legionnaire. it is equipped with a cryo gun, which shoots freezing cold ice at its enemies, which in turn, turns their targets into ice that can be shattered by a bullet. it's secondary ability is the power kick, which is activated when his jetpacks launch him in the air and land with shattering force ( i wonder how he can survive that landing, even with all that power armor).

He's a cool unit, and has great voice :D but he's no match to Chrono Legionnaire!
agreed. i like to accompany these guys with peacekeepers, javelin troopers, tanya, and cryo copters.
what i don't like about these guys i s that they don't rank up, or do they? cuz i haven't seen them rank up even when i use their special ability against frozen units.
by the way, what does the chrono legionnaire do? haven't played RA2 yet.
Chrono Legionnaire can make enemy units and structures disappear (actually sends them somewhere in time). It does take some time on big vehicles and structures.
While he is doing so, the attacked unit is unable to move or attack, and attacked structure stops working.
Also when he moves, he teleports around the map rather than walks
so he is like the cryo legionnaire except that he uses time?
it's so hard to choose between the two...
i like the cryo legionnaire because once the target is completely frozen, you can kill it even with a bullet.
chrono legionnaire is the best, he's basically a mobile version of the chrono rift superpower from RA3, except he actually makes the units dissapear instead of the phasing them, on top of that he can also teleport anywhere on the map. So basically he can kill anything anywhere.
I love the Cryo dude too, just think he's OP, but it's a great throwback to both the Chrono Legonaire and the Rocketeer :) Thumbs up EA for this unit, balance the expansions and keep multiplayer >.<
This unit fills the gap in Allied arsenal. Cool and fun to play unit.

i hate this.. i can't hear any of the new unit's voices in ra3 uprising!! my computer's lacking an audio driver.

Try this: If you have Red Alert 3, download mod Upheaval which includes all units from Uprising :D
