If you are getting it, let's exchange usernames and we can get some co-op going or something. i was a bit late to the Diablo 2 party and tried to play online but playing with bots isn't that fun believe it or not. can't wait for this game. my first character is going to be the Monk, played with him a bit on the free weekend and he's badass. I'm excited about the witch doctor too. wish there were more than 5 classes though. guess they're saving some for dlc or an expansion.

I'd like to, but not on release either D: I Have a bunch of bills and such and I'm also trying to save up for a better PC so buying 60 dollar games might not be the best idea haha. But I did have tons of fun playing witchdoctor in beta.

I'm probably getting D3, got a bunch of friends who are getting it, have already pre-purchased, or got it as part of the WoW annual pass.

Since Diablo III, I lost all my everyday gamers friends! I don't know anymore why I wait before buying this!

I've honestly decided that I'd rather play Torchlight 2 and save 40 bucks and what I've heard about the game made it more iffy to me than anything.

yea i'm a little worried i won't like D3 as much as i thought, but i'm still gonna get it. but i'm looking forward to Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn more than D3 i think.

we should play Torchlight 2 co-op when we all get it.

The thing I heard about D3 that really turned me off is that I heard you don't put stat points in yourself, it does it automatically like WoW, so the only real difference between it and WoW is that it's only 4 players, the classes are different and you fight a lot more than one guy at a time? Please correct me if I am wrong there, I will probably get the game...in 3 years when Blizzard finally lowers the price to 30 or 40 bucks.

Also this new feature where you have to be online just to play single player on Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 irritates me for the simple fact that if my internet goes down I don't have the right to play a game I paid top dollar for. I mean I understand that it's a good form of copyright protection because it makes it harder for pirates to crack into single player but they will still find a way... and put it on a torrent site so why punish everyone else for it?

Any idea how many players Torchlight II multiplayer will support? I can't find the information on Steam, that or I'm blind (which is a very real possibility) And to those of you who like Torchlight, you should check out Fate, it's very similar to Torchlight (as part of the dev. team made Fate)

That's my plan too!

i think i read torchlight 2 supports 4 people. and if you only want to pay 40 just wait a month or 2, someone will have it on sale for that much. either amazon or newegg i would bet.

and to change the subject, u know ill just start another thread about it. nm.

I live in Canada, I refuse to use Amazon.ca, I've had too many bad experiences with prices being different by 20-30 bucks and most of what I look at on Amazon.com isn't available on Amazon.ca and they won't let me use Amazon.com

Go to Borderlinx and register for a US mailing address: Borderlinx.com (it's completely free)

Then go to Amazon.com, go to your account details, and enter the address you get as an additional billing address. Then when you go to buy something, make sure that it is set as your billing address, and you can buy from Amazon.com with no problems.

Oh, I was meaning for digital downloads.

But you could also do that for physical goods, I suppose - that's why Borderlinx exists. You pay Amazon to ship it internally in the US, and they'll deliver it to Borderlinx. Borderlinx then hold it for 30 days, in which time you can arrange for it to be shipped to you.

You'll have to find out what the Borderlinx postage charges are to work out if it'll be any cheaper, though.
* edit - here's a cost calculator: Borderlinx.com
* edit #2 - after working out some example costs, it may only be cost-effective doing this if you were buying a lot of goods, and then consolidating them into one delivery

After playing a trial version of both Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 I honestly have to say I will be waiting for Diablo 3 to go on sale. Good solid game, I just can't justify spending 60 bucks on it on my wage. I will definately be getting it though, hopefully Amazon.ca puts it on sale around x-mas, or for thanksgiving, or whatever, I'd be willing to spend 40 for sure, 50 would be pushing it, but I'd consider it maybe. One of the main definitive reasons why I don't want to spend 60 bucks on it is I was iffy on the character development, then playing it I realize I don't like it, but it doesn't ruin the game, the game is still very fun. That and Torchlight 2 being good and only 20 >.>
