Dragon's Dogma Thread - Bundeals

Got this game for 360 a few days ago and it's much better than i thought it would be. It's like a cross between Skyrim, Monster Hunter & maybe Dark Souls.
The combat is super fun and addictive. You have these Pawns that help/follow you during the game and i was a bit worried they would be a pain in the ass but they are some of the smartest "followers" i've ever seen in a game.

There's 3 classes you can choose from at the beginning of the game: Fighter, Mage & Stryder(rogue) and later on you can changed to advanced classes like: Mystic Knight(battle-mage), Magic Archer(mage-rogue) or Assassin(fighter-rogue). I chose the Stryder to start off with and he is so much fun to use. I'm trying to decide whether i want to change to a Magic Archer or Assassin. I'm leaning towards the Assassin.

There are a few things that kinda puzzle me about the game. Like, no fast-travel. while this makes it more realistic, i can see myself getting frustrated by this later on down the road. from what i read there's some item you can buy that brings you back to a certain town but i've not learned much about it.

i know a few of you have consoles(this isn't on pc) and if you're looking for a new game, i recommend trying this out. it's still $60 unless you can find it used or something. and there's no online pass or anything like that so it doesn't matter, just whatever your preference is.

also, you make your own personal Pawn, and other people can use them. when they come back they'll have items that the player has given them, also XP and knowledge of any quests they did that they can share with you when you do them.

If i had to slap a score on this game right now i'd give it a 8.5/10 but like i said. only been playing it a few days. so that score could change...

I forgot about 3 of the classes. there's also Warrior, Ranger and Sorcerer
