One of the features sorely missed from v3 ModDB (i'm told at least) was the ability to browse the image galleries from all mods at once. Apparently eye candy is important to some people and so many used this "gallery feature" to find mods based purely on how they looked. So if you are one of the shallow cool people who judge a book by its cover you're in luck. Why? Because a new feature has just been deployed to ModDB which (you'll see linked too in the top menu ^^) which allows you to browse all videos, images and audio at once.
Not only that, but we have improved the feature from ModDB v3 days considerably. Firstly you will notice up top ModDB editors have picked out a selection of cool videos, images and audio to feature. We will continue to do this, upload an awesome piece of media to your mod or games profile and we'll feature it for you. Secondly you can now search all media so you can quickly and easily find the video you want. And finally, media from active (not private) games, mods, engines and groups (not just mods) is now browseable.
Enjoy the new feature - it should hopefully help you the developers find more fans as media on the web (thanks to the likes of Youtube) is now more important than it ever has been.
UPDATE: Please note that due to demand our video / audio server is currently been upgraded and new videos will not be rendered for 24hours.

Great work Scott, another amazing feature I'm sure all of you will use!
I was hoping for a feature like this. It'll be much easier than sifting through separate mod profiles.
Great little feature :)
I wub it.
Very nice.
Yea, I was waiting for such a feature. thx

Rofl... spot on! :D . But anyways a nice thing. Any chance of bringing back rotating mod banners? They just had been a nice thing to have.
Cool, sometimes I see a video on a mod's profile and I want to see it,but because of Hughesnet I havce to wait for 3am,so I tend to forget the video, but now I can find it more easily, thanks. :)
Nifty keen, You guys are awesome
anyone else find themselves going to page 2000+ and looking at the old HL1 mods?
No need for page 2000+... just filter for half-life mods... brings back memories, doesn't it? :D
you know, having the mod profiles galleries and such in a layout like this would rock even more ;P
Its so much easier to browse images this way .. doo eet for teh profiles :D
Youtube for mods and games only, that'll save time from looking through alot of videos. Good work guys, much appreciated.
YAT FINALLY
Have to say this is pretty awesome :)
This is a great feature! It really improves the media browsing on ModBD and helps to find the video, audio or image you are looking for.
Excellent stuff.
I've a request: when we search the list, could the re-loaded page be made to skip past the featured images/sounds/videos and straight to the results?
