Mod DB is a community-driven website. This means that users have the ability to add, modify and remove content. Under certain circumstances, users may have permissions to modify and remove content created by others. However, there are certain guidelines that govern what content can be removed. These permissions have been granted in order to control abuse and spam. We ask that you do not remove comments under other circumstances (for instance, negative comments about your mod, criticism, or anyone that disagrees with your opinion). Removing this content is a breach of the Terms of Service, and may result in your permissions being revoked or, in extraordinary circumstances, a formal ban from Mod DB. The site's terms of use have been updated to reflect this with the following paragraph added:

All content on the site is controlled by the community. This means you can add / edit and delete your content and others in certain circumstances. We ask that you respect fellow community members and freedom of speech and don't delete comments and other content which disagrees with your opinion. Fair ground to edit / delete others content is when it is in breach of this Terms of Use

Freedom is (almost) always great! :D
Does this concern the karma system as well?
