We've managed to work through all the technical kinks to ensure we have a (mostly) hassle-free first show. The date has been set and our first live show will air Sunday, July 13th at 12 pm PST (GMT -7). If all you want to do is listen then you don't need to do a thing - it's all streamed through your browser. If, however, you want to participate then you'll have to do a couple of things:
Of course, these aren't mandatory. If you want to be able to participate in the show and interact with the people in chat its a good idea to have a ustream account at least. This will be a good opportunity to connect with like-minded people within the community to talk all about mods and modding. See you there!
Want to know when to tune in? Here's a handy conversion for you:

Only registered members can share their thoughts. So come on! Join the community today (totally free) and do things you never thought possible.
Signed up as yafn, though I might be on my way back from the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas.
Is there no way to just listen to it live? What do you need to do in that case?
I was wondering that same thing...
Also, how long will it last? I'll be at work but I might be able to tune in on my lunch hour depending on how long it lasts and if you begin on time (and whether I need to install software onto my work computer or not).
You can listen in without signing up, but joining the text chat needs a ustream login. You only need Skype if you want to speak on the program.
(I know because I played Guinea Pig for them this morning :) )
Okay, but what program did you use to listen in with? Is it just going to be a live podcast or what?
Yes it will be live, streaming using latest version of flash. If you don't wish to participate you can just visit the show link (to be posted on the day of the show) and listen in.
Clarified the news post with this, well brought up!
Sorry but what time we'll be in France at this moment ?
I think it would be around 18:00 in France. I'm not sure.
I think I won't be able to witness this first live cast.
More like 20:00 right? GMT-7 and Paris in is GMT+1 so an 8 hour difference, later.
This man is correct. PST is GMT -7, so GMT is PST +7.
CET (Central European Time) is GMT +1, so the show is due to start at 20:00 in France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, etc. and 19:00 in the UK and Portugal.
The US, the UK and most states in Europe observe Daylight Savings Time during the summer months, so the calculations are the same. If you live in a country that does NOT observe DST (e.g. parts of the Middle East, Africa and Asia), you need to double-check when the show is due to start in your timezone.
So wait, does that mean it's at 11am in California, or at noon?
oh cool, I'll be around in ustream chat .. and possibly in skype if somebody wants to hear my weird german accent haha
Think it is 1pm on monday for people living in perth Australia. :P
it will be 5am for me so at leased its not 3am :P
Forget what i said, its 3am for perth
Hooray for being on the West Coast! I'll definitely be there. I've just discovered uStream myself, and it's a really awesome service.
13th july, is my birthday :)
