could use some absolute dates

i want to learn how to make mods i was hoping that this site could teach me if you have a tutorrial please tell me cause i want to learn.
I want to learn how to have a full conversion mod but i need help if there is somewhere on here where you can get people to help with the mod id like to know that to.(i origanlly wanted to make my own game but that would take decades for me. but i heard of full conversion. and that if its good enough that the coupany who made the game could commercialize and pay the developers)
