Am I the only one that DOESN'T like 2.5's interface? It took away the workflow I loved from Blender, all just to please a mimicing UI for industry pros that complain about the unique UI it once had. :(

And don't say 2.5 can be styled to have the UI of earlier versions - you really can't. Opening old .blend files with 2.5 will just give you screwed up panels.

Fork this man.

its because we've been using 2.4 for so long
they should have done more of a transition into the new ui nearing the end of 2.4
but now that they just jumped in its glitchy and unfamiliar :(

Hello my fellow Blender Heads!

For those of you that do not know us, we have developed an easy to use and cost effective rendering solution for Blender called the "Green Button".

This will enable you to render images up to 300% faster than on you home PC. We offer a python script so that you can schedule renders from inside Blender, making it super easy to use.

Signing up for an account is also easy and every new user gets a free $10 dollar trial and ofter that you can buy more CPU time at just 1c per CPU per minute.

We are located in Wellington, New Zealand and our external rendering facility is the same one used to render the graphics for the Lord of The Rings so come render your projects at the same place Lord of the Rings was rendered!

Kind regards
Cassie - The Green Button Team

I am gonna need some help. I will show a picture soon, but I was making some tentacles for a creature on Blender and for some weird reason when I made the texture green and see a rendered picture, some of them turn green and black. What kind of things cause this?
