Doing a self-imposed challenge in the forums. Weekly models based on a monthly theme, all work done within Blender. Despite having copies of Maya and 3DS Max 2011 laying about (brand new, never installed, provided free by my college) I still prefer Blender for personal projects because it's the software I'm most comfortable with. Well 2.57 is out... still has bugs here and there... but i bet they'll fix'em soon in updates.

could anyone please make or direct me to a tutorial on how to get a custom weapon to work in udk from blender? i need an in depth tut on every part you need to do.
nevermind figured it out anyway, surprisingly easy now coding the weapon afterward not so easy
Or you could just torrent 3DS Max or Maya...
