I've just recently start modding bf2, and all i have done were changing kits, adjusting weapons stats.
I wanna add new weapons but i don't understand anything about the mesh and stuff to import for the new weapons i want to add. Also i don't know what code to add or copy for the new weapons. Can someone help me???
I want to put the medium explosion effect for the handgrenade so I clicked on the tweak for the grenade and changed it from e_exp_grenade to e_exp_medium. I started up the game and when the grenade exploded, it didn't show dirt fly up from the ground, or dust fly off when it's on concrete. Also it doesn't make any sound.
I have question. How many polys do we need to have for importing weapons and vehicles to bf2 map editor?
Well you need to export the weapon or vehicle from Max (there are certain things you need to do, plus you need the POE2 Exporter Tools for 3DS Max. PM ME FOR CLARIFICATION).
Weapons need to stay at 10k or lower for Geom0 LoD0 (First-Person view, highest poly version of model exported).
Vehicles you want to have no more than 20k or so for the vehicle in general.
I want to know is weapon mags changable?
I want to put mg36 drum mag to M4A1. Can anybody help?
It would be good if it can be added in tweaker file.

I have a question, how do I make a bolt action sniper rifle simi-automatic? which part of the tweak file is it?
in animationComp set ObjectTemplate.animation.useShiftAnimation 0, ObjectTemplate.animation.shiftDelay 0 and you could also screw around in Animationsystems to delete shifting animation.
