reason why bf2:modern combat and bad company 1 are missing is because they were only available on mainly consoles , while the others are available for pc & consoles.
also, before bad company fanboys ask me why i putted bad company into it: because bad company was the start for the newer titles: it has no BOT support, no dedicated servers, no modsupport etc. also the bad company fans are the same fanboys, who cry about battlefield 3 & 4, while these were just a upgraded bad company, means: jets, weapon customization, bigger maps etc. also, bad company fanboys crying about battlefield 3 & 4 features, while bad company started with these features like class customizations etc. fanboys are like:
class customization in BC2 > good
class customization in BF 3 & 4 > wahhh its call of duty style blahblah
im not a fan of the newer titles, but get the facts right. bf3 & 4 is just a advanced BC2 with jets, surface to air missiles, bigger maps etc.. ive played BC2 and BF3, i enjoyed it both, but ive never understood why people cried about BF3, it was a BC2 with upgraded engine, more content and stuff. still, it doesnt change that the newer titles, started by BC2, are worse than older titles. BC2, BF3, BF4, Hardline etc all of them has no bot support, no modding support, COD features, no dedicated servers etc and that all began with BC2, that is fact, and not only that: the leveling and unlock (COD feature) began even with BF2 (which is very sad).
BFBC2 and vietnam wasn't bad at all. Also you miss BF2 Modern combat, bf1943, BFBC1 console exclusives.

I agree with this. I think that the BF series was destroyed because of those microtransactions. It opened the way to sell unfinished game with lacking contents and then sell it extra at extra price, all of those extra was supposed to be included in original game. With internet access now being mostly available to most people in the west and in asia, extra coding that is required to make Bots is now history, because it takes extra time and F you costumer. Bad Company 2 had a very funny campaign for me, I liked missions and characters a lot. But no prone and limited weapons with small maps did not made it a good MP game. This latest Hardline doesn't not have right to have BF in title, as a solo Hardline is a arcade and fun game, but they only throw a Battlefiled name in it to so that people would buy it. RIP Battlefield series.
