In a war-torn world of elemental magic, a young boy reawakens to undertake a dangerous mystic quest to fulfill his destiny as the Avatar. Aang was a male Air Nomad born in 12 BSC and the Avatarduring the century-long conflict known as the Hundred Year War. His immediate predecessor was Avatar Roku, and his immediate successor is Avatar Korra. During his lifetime, Aang, like all Avatars, was the only person capable of using all four bending disciplines: airbending, waterbending, earthbending and firebending. He was also one of a select few Avatars, and one of the first in many cycles to learn the ancient art of energybending. Aang was the first Avatar seen using the technique, and Avatar Korra was the second known Avatar to utilize energy-bending.
Does anyone else enjoy reading Avatar comics; 'the search' clearly fills in the gaps in story to some extent. What's your honest opinion on 'the search', first part is available online for free, you just need to find a torrent, unless you want to purchase an original edition, go ahead.
I could hardly contain my excitement while reading this comic, it's a page-turner, the plot is fairly predictable, but it's an appealing story and I'd love to see such comics again.
I sincerely believe we'll see something special in the second half of the first season, maybe that old cabbage merchant will show up again, he may have become a cabbage-bender. :D
In the holidays I watched it with my friends via Beamer on a large screen with an awesome stereo :D
All seasons in one night, freaking awesome. Season 3, Epi 9 best episode ;)

The cabbage merchant starts a company
Hmm, an all-powerful cabbage-bender who rules the world...seems legit.
