A group for those without religion, as well as those who oppose it.
Awww that baby is so cute, lets eat it !!!
I love this!
What's really sad is that some people really would 'do whatever they want to' if they found out their god didn't exist. Building people's morality up around a creator is not the brightest idea; for if they ever found out he wasn't real, they wouldn't be able to distinguish between right and wrong.
So how do you guys choose right and wrong? Who dicides what's right and what's wrong? Do you chose that? Is that based on your culture? Does the government decide? Do laws guide you? Do you base right and wrong on what you have been taught? Or is it inheritly in you? Please tell me how you determine what's right and what's wrong? I'm not saying you don't have morals just wondering what you base it on.
You don't need an old piece of paper to know stealing, lying and killing is bad. My freedom ends where other one's begins. That's how it should be.
Laws? No, law is minimum of moral. You don't kill because your Gad said so. If he didn't, would you kill?
Sounds an aweful lot like it is built into us, therefore it could confirm the biblical account of the fall. Because they ate the fruit they knew what was good and evil. Of course you'll point out a flaw even if there is none. Since both Adam and Eve were perfect, and they didn't even know about stealing, killing, etc. so they could not do any of those, they did however have the choice of either eating the fruit or not. Choice=/=Imperfection
Tread others like you want to be treaded. Just "common sense" in more words.
Jesus said that 2000 years before you:D
"love your neighbor as yourself"
we base morality on what all humans do, instinct and the desire to fit in to society in a mutualy belificial way.
the bible is not a source for morality- its actually full of things which i would call amoral or even evil- modern society would not and counld not function if it was based on biblical law. any "good" morality the bible has was already present in human society long before those myths were written down.
if you believe that without the bible you would be a murdering raping socieopath than there is clearly something wrong with you and you need to be locked up, because it shows you have far greater issues.
morality is instinctive- we are social group animals, altrustic and moral behavior evolved because it was more effective for our ancestors to work together for acommon goal than to always fight against everybody around you.
That's what I was trying to get across Deer. Some of these Christians would go on killing sprees because of how they set up the Bible as their moral outlook on life; if that was suddenly taken away, we could have disaster.
Who knows honestly, but a few crazies shouldn't be that hard to handle. Most Christians would most likely be depressed they aren't getting an awesome afterlife after they die.
did he just say the just becuase of the bible he isnt eating people? This is one of the guys we have to get down before we destroy religios
It's satire - he's pretending to be a Christian in his videos. A few notable Christians have said that without God, they would not distinguish between right and wrong. My father included believes that if God weren't real, he could do whatever the **** he wants and no one can stop him.
Only the fear of hell keeps these psychopaths in their place.
Not really. It creates another sort of psychopaths, those who claim to do the work of justice so they dont end in hell. Extremest example is that Breivik in Norway who murdered more than 70 people a year ago to stop the islamic invasion in the name of God...
Today we call him killer, tomorrow we will call him hero. Like all people fighting against multiculturalism. I am not saying he did a right thing, but we are going to have a serious problem and nobody listens.
The differences in the culture are too big so multicuralism is about to fail. Is it that what you mean? If yes, then I agree.
Yes. You agree
