Well its true what he said, be open and don't lie just because you are scared of the consequences or you are afraid of being rejected by other "believers". I was always open about it, with friends, family, other people...i'm an Atheist ^^

Wow. If this is the guy you look up to, then I feel sorry for you. Can't you look up to Gandhi or Nelson Mandela? How about Martin Luther King? Or do you refuse to look up at them because they believed in God and were devout in their religious beliefs? You atheists amaze me sometimes. As a Christian, I have accepted that many religions contain the same message of truth: love, forgiveness, mercy and selfishness. I respect Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jews and I do not think that any of them will go to Hell. My best friends have been Muslims or Hindus and they've been some of the nicest people I've met.

You atheists on the other hand deny all religions and call all religious people deluded. So who are the intolerant ones? Let me tell you, when C.S Lewis became Christian, he became tolerant of all religions that preached the same message.

Atheists express their rage against God although in their view He does not exist. --C. S. Lewis

I see countless atheistic quotes in this group. It seems you atheists are seeking for something, trying to replace the hole that cannot be filled without God. Let me tell you, no human will ever fill that hole but you're free to continue searching.

"Wow. If this is the guy you look up to,..."

Sorry to pop your bubble, but that is not true. I can reason on my own thank you. I, for one, do not persecute any religion in particular. I only hate the actions which are posed in their name. I have friends from pretty much every religion and the fact that their are religious and I am not doesn't hinder on our friendship. Please do not generalize.

I personally do not have such a "hole". I believe that some things happen for a reason, others are simply chaotic. I don't need a divinity to confirm my thought nor to guide me. I have a brain and I can think for myself.

"Wow. If this is the guy you look up to, then I feel sorry for you."
I will not let other people dictate who my heroes are. I am a human being, I will choose who personally affects my character the most.

"As a Christian, I have accepted that many religions contain the same message of truth: love, forgiveness, mercy and selfishness. The typical "I have a black friend so I'm not racist" statement. Guess what, we have religious friends too. The difference is your god hates their god and vice versa, while their god only has our nothing to hate.

"You atheists on the other hand deny all religions and call all religious people deluded."
By definition a delusion is a false belief. We poses no belief in theological dictators and think your collection of fictional characters are just wishful fantasies that are holding humanity back.

"Atheists express their rage against God although in their view He does not exist."
How can an Atheist be angry at a fictional character? I can say Anakin Skywalker was a ****** character in the prequels of Star Wars but I can't hate him. He's fiction. God is a ****** character because God is the most immoral consciousness I have ever heard off.

"I see countless atheistic quotes in this group. It seems you atheists are seeking for something, trying to replace the hole that cannot be filled without God."
The sharing quotes is a quest to fill a hole? Well an intellectual hole with wisdom, logic, and knowledge empirically from credible minds on occasion is healthy. I don't see a problem with incorporating the ideas of others into your own mind. Humanity would never progress if everyone rejected every last thing everyone said simply because their all powerful and amazing mind didn't conjure it. Most if not all knowledge is empirical.
