This is a group for those who have broken their mental chains of religion, as well as those who have never been bound by them in the first place. As there being no way to prove the existence of deities, nor anything of superstition. Anything anyone says about any such superstitious notion is a guess and your guess is as good as mine.

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

The business of a vassal of "God" (as it were) should not be to get involved in the simple quarrels of nations. He should focus more on his highly successful indoctrination program. Well that an' the....Kids, all the kids whom have been "touched" by his cause.
Oh yeah and continuing to remind the earth what baby eating, Satan lovin', morally inept, consciously moronic and horrendously barbaric creatures us atheists are...

But seriously I doubt he'll be kind to the gay community.
But I'm not a catholic pope, neither am I a christian bishop. I am merely an atheist.

Why are you asking us to make, erm, well, us die?

You should rethink your plan a little. It kinda has a big flaw in it... xD.

What's the difference between an otaku who watches lolicon [in Japan] and a Muslim man [Saudi Arabia] who wed preteen girls?

The otaku is doing something immoral (while what the Muslim did is totally ok).

But seriously, the religious people who are most against porn are most likely doing things that even most perverts find distastful...

... and please downvote this comment so that it can be buried and be hidden from sight. I know this is distasteful but I feel this also should be noted...

[and I really wish this comment thingy has a spell check or something...]

religion has always seen peodophilia and rape as moral behavior.

the difference is if you are part of the religion it is ok, and if not its not

either way i think its sick- child porn and child sex is harmful to the children involved.

though you have stumbled across an interesting parellel.
both groups (the japanese and the monotheisic religions) have a rather sexually supressed cultures (the japanese less so)
this could be a reason why sa larger number of people in both groups seem to have some rather perverse tastes

Depends what religion you're talking about Cervi. Christianity is against those things. This Catholic scandal has only ever been restricted to the Catholic church and is devoid elsewhere in Christianity. The first written laws on the age of consent came from a Christian country (the UK back in 1275) and evolved from there on.

Not all religions see things like that. People just use their religions sometimes as an excuse to do those things.

The real issue is their questionable morality and how religion doesn't seem to fix people's morals very well. It seems that threatening someone with eternal torture doesn't work on everybody.
