This is a group for those who have broken their mental chains of religion, as well as those who have never been bound by them in the first place. As there being no way to prove the existence of deities, nor anything of superstition. Anything anyone says about any such superstitious notion is a guess and your guess is as good as mine.

I noticed that being atheist isn't a big deal, people just think it's a big deal because of the vast amount of influence religion has on people that makes it seem to be a miracle to be atheist. There is a danger in this. Atheists must try not to take pride in being atheists, it's like taking pride in knowing Santa Clause isn't real. It's only because stupidity of our world is so astounding that we're lowering our standards for what makes someone intelligent.

I dunno about America, but here in the U.K Atheists are pretty common, so it's no deal at all, the only real discrimination Atheists face in the U.K comes from Muslims and the occasional radical Christian.

I've noticed that the only people that are proud to be atheist tend to be religious atheists, whom are mostly pretentious arseholes that regurgitate whatever nonsense they're told whether it makes sense or not.

Same here in Canada. In fact, I went to a Catholic highschool and made my atheism publicly known. I was a belligerent ******* who never stood for the national anthem or morning prayers and often challenged my teachers on their religion and they were all pretty accepting, far more accepting than I was at the time that's for sure. I regret having been such a douchenozzle to them.

The only time I remember ever having religion crammed down my throat was when I was in elementary school and they called in a priest to bless me and toss holy water at me. I remember telling him that it burned just to **** with him. Even as a child I was a prick. Another priest came to the school and basically told me I was going to hell if I didn't stop acting like a brat.

I've never felt like I had to keep my opinions on religion secret even when I was surrounded by Christians. Having parents who supported my decisions on politics and religion helped too.

I can safely say that i've been quite stigmatized for my beliefs,or should I say,my "lack of beliefs" .

I honestly think astrology is the cradle of any major religion. Our 'refined' species has been trying to describe, comprehend and decipher certain things that, until recently, seemed to be inexplicable. Pardon the expression; thank god, we have scientists.

But one does not simply worship the moon and talks big about it !
We worship god these days,it's cool and it gives us a high level of spiritual protection from the negative energies emanated from beggars, public toilets, reality shows and much more !

A constant may exist. And that's my flimsy theory. It's a sheer possibility. If you eliminate the impossible(religion), whatever remains(a constant), however improbable, must be the truth(maybe).

It's a neat clip. Moon is awesome! :)
