This is a group for those who have broken their mental chains of religion, as well as those who have never been bound by them in the first place. As there being no way to prove the existence of deities, nor anything of superstition. Anything anyone says about any such superstitious notion is a guess and your guess is as good as mine.

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

Creationist wikipedia. Dear God.

On "evolutionism" as they like to call it:

While organisms do change through time, this quality of life is driven by a complex cellular machinery. To assume that the sophisticated systems within the cell could have arisen by pure chance requires a tremendous amount of faith in statistical improbability.

HUZZAH FOR BIAS AND SHEER STUPIDITY!

How curious, it doesn't say anything about the evidence of a God or the Bible, and they say that some of Evolution's evidence is wrong, because Darwin deduced, by watching birds peak, that a bear can evolve into a whale, YAY -_-

'By conflating biological evolution with the general theory of evolution, these evolutionists make arguments that sound meaningful, but are actually meaningless. They note changes in the size of finch beaks, and infer (without evidence) that bears can evolve into whales.'

I mean... seriously... are they doing this on purpose or what?

I think one of the scariest things creationists do is misrepresent evolution constantly. They always try to argue we came from chimps, and those chimps came from rocks, etc.

It's almost as if they think evolution is a matter of belief.

Well to them, it sadly is. I still crack up on "evolutionism", that's like saying like people believe in "gravityism", it's absurd.

Also, their words on agnosticism really ****** me off:

"The an agnostic by contrast, concludes that because he is ignorant that he will always be ignorant and thus ceases to seek the truth or try to understand anyone else, as it is inconclusive either way. From a Christian perspective, this is a non sequitur."

(the phrase "non sequitur" redirecting to a page on logical fallicies, great job creationists, you just called the one position in religion that must invariably be right a logic fallacy)

"To be an agnostic is to acknowledge one's ignorance and surrender to it."

... Imbeciles.

Oh, I knew he was a Christian, but I didn't know how far down the loony bar he had fallen. Earlier I saw a video of him saying how he doesn't believe in evolution (as if it's a matter of belief, ha) and I was appalled by just that.

That's also assuming the founding fathers thought our nation should've remained the same and never changing. The fact is, is that they wanted it to change with time and adapt. The one thing the founding fathers did fear though, was Christianity taking over the government. Something that did happen and went unchecked for YEARS (and STILL goes on today).

This is the problem about having a higher power influence government. The believer will place the god above his government as the ultimate decision maker that can overrule anyone below him. This translates into CHAOS if their god doesn't exist; and that's what makes Church and State so incredibly dangerous if they do, in fact, become one. What's worse than a corrupt government is a government that believes it is doing the right thing, not to mention, following an irrational concept.
