What? I haven't heard "God is evil for flooding the Earth" that much. It's just thought of as, for the most part as 'symbolic', pointless. Taking it literally: The point behind drowning everything (which by the way, would've been impossible as it would've killed all marine life, killed everyone in the ark, etc.) is very obscure in a literal sense.

It's like me being a creator of the universe, decides suddenly that "Hey, this species I made isn't doing what I like, even though I made them to be this way, I'll flood them so they will all die slowly instead of just teleporting them out of existence."

Abstractly, like you said, can tell a different story (I just have no idea what it means; "Kill your creations when they go bad?!").

Agreed lol.

If he wanted to kill all the humans, depriving the world of air or simply disintegrating us or something like that would of been more effective.

Plus we're even worse now, so why doesn't he kill us all now? I mean, we're harming everything we touch, including ourselves. Yet God doesn't seem to mind, so why did he flood them back then? They must of really ****** him off xD.

This is another point of God being created by human. According to The Book he has human ways of behavior and thinking. In The Book he is using his force inefficiently and according to what could human think about him. Disastrous floods? First centers of civilizations were established on rivers. So what can be most disastrous for human living in that age? Floods, or extremely dry weather.

Once he get angry and want to destroy us, then he forgives and let us start again. Sounds like moody human, doesn't it?

I noticed that the God in the Bible seemed to act like a human too.

No. Your god was created in our image, by the imagination of primitives.

Is written in a symbolic language. I'm atheist but seriously you guys can't use the fact that "God flooded the earth" as an arguement to why god is "evil" (hypotheticly speaking that god exsists)
I'm posting this cause its like the thousandth time I have seen this in moddb (and millionth time in general.)
