Free will? How can one be sure if "free will" exists at all? Isn't everything random, or composed of many, many, many... many circumstances and events?

So... wouldn't "free will" be another god, this time a god with a two-part name? As illusory as any others... especially when situations may compel you to just one or another choice. That's the "freedom of choice"?

I personally think were all just a collection of randomly organised matter so in a sense free will is not possible. Though in a human sense your mind's possibilities are narrowed greatly by religion.

if thats your highest truth, what stops you from going out stabbing people? This illogical feeling called empathy? Hmm, probably.

I kinda like being peaceful rather than being a homicidal psychopath who solves problems irrationally by causing harm to people. I also kinda like not existing in a jail and I rather a bullet from a cops gun not end my existence. This would be called rationality and it seems to be a difficult concept for some people.

Free will does not exist, wether it's because of our own biological bodies forcing opinions on us, us living in a dictator ship or being an individuum in a mass of billions. I am even writing this because my head says I have to.
