God works in mysterious ways... xD.
And then he send them all to hell so they have a warm place to dry before they go to... Aw, who wants to leave hell? Its so nice and warm. Right christians?
To quote from a popular saying on FSTDT:
"Feel the Christian love!"
Love does not negate punishment for serious extreme crimes (thats what Yeshua/Jesus came for). A father or mother punishes their child based on the magnitude of what wrong they did. So does God.
Im not sure what they did requires complete destruction of their lives.
Pretty sure the things they did warranted it. For example, they were murdering each other for pleasure, sacrificing their children in fire, committing cannibalism, practicing homosexual sex, having sex with animals, etc. The list goes on. Murdering each other for pleasure and sacrificing children in fire were reason enough already. It was so bad that it makes the bad things of today's world look like a small party.
So where in the Bible exactly did it list out the sins of which got those people the punishment of their world been flooded? And wouldn't it be less brutal for God to simply show up to tell those people to stop sinning before resorting to flooding his own creation?
Are you really so daft that you think simply telling these people would have helped? It doesn't help now! So, why would it have helped then. If it did, people like you would not exist.
No I meant having God actually showing up himself instead of send "representatives" to tell people to stop sinning.
Oh yea, proof that God is actually good is nice too (and the Divine Command Theory does not count, that's simply might makes right on a cosmic scale).
