Sad truth...

It's because they want a theocracy with their book in charge so they can force their religion around and convert more people to the 'truth'. When I was a Christian, I was told that Christians use 'peace' and 'kindness' to spread their faith to other religions (Muslims specifically), but the others don't want the 'truth'.

Again, not all Christians are like that. The main problem is the small but vocal minority who's convinced that everybody besides them will burn in hell for not going to *their* church.

Marriage is theological. A habit from old age. Yes, it is said that it holds two people together even if they have troubles, but that can be done without marriage as well. In todays world where someone gets married and divorced in 3 moths, the marriage just make troubles.

Homosexual marriages? Nah, ok. But I wouldn't let homosexual couple to bring up a child. Not because of them, because of the child, it would be confused and also can suffer in school by being bullied.

Homosexual couples apparently raise kids better though. I wouldn't worry about being bullied; kids are bullied for anything abnormal where I live at least.

I agree with you, Homosexual couples would raise the child to love and accept things no matter what is wrong with them.

Honestly, I think that not letting gay couples raise children is completely absurd. The reasons for it are few and weak, and it's discriminatory.

well it depeds on were you are,i wouldnt let a gay couple raise kids in the deep southern united states- thats playing with fire, it would be very dangerous for all involved parties. northern areas, california anywhere outside of bible land i have no problem with gays raising kids.
(ps i also believe that a large majority of the inhabitants of bibleland shouldnt be allowed to raaise kids either so it works out)

o and just to clarify- i have no problem wth gay marrige or homosexuals raising children, i just know that it would be extremely dangerous in bibleland.
I would encourage homosexuals who want to raise kids to move away from the south.

Actually, marriage isn't theological. It's far older than current religions. Probably tens of thousands of years. Maybe even older than our very species.
