I guess this guy (like most atheists) missed the part in The Bible where sinners are thrown into the lake of fire and die the second death. This even happens to Satan in the end. There is no eternal punishment.
Revelation 20:14 “This is the second death, the lake of fire”
The verse that says "forever and ever" was actually "for the ages of the ages" in Greek. Jesus calling the fires of Hell "eternal" doesn't even mean that punishment there was eternal. Jesus actually said God destroyed the body and soul in Hell:
Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
"Eternal fire" and "maggots eating flesh" were terms used by Jesus to speak of the pain of being in Hell. There's punishment down there but it doesn't last forever.
Yet another popular misconception about The Bible debunked. Next!
P.S
What is it with you atheists and all these idols you have as posters? One could say you're worshiping them as gods!
Praised be our lord, the blessed Bill Hicks. He hath brought us great holy teachings such as, "If he thought he could fly, why didn't he take off from the ground?" and many any other deep meaningful words of wisdom.
I beseech you to watch one of his sermons on YouTube, Revelations. Hopefully you will come to your senses and believe in the one true lord, our Bill Hicks.
I thought that was you fellows and Judgement day. I'm not exactly excited to not exist, not fearful of it, but I'd rather not rush the whole dying thing.
well after God judges you for your sins, your soul gets destroyed. I would not want people to suffer that faith, instead i would rather if people repented and became followers of Jesus Christ, who has power over life and death.
i'm so scared

So, alright, let's fix that: "Death" awaits those who question God's Eternal love.
Problem fixed.
