Many people think they actually are actually important and have a purpose,for all I know they could, but it is as if they never decided to look up at night.

Carbon dating isn't used to date dinosaur fossils because there's no f'cking carbon in it! Nothing that is older than perhaps half a million years at most is dated using carbon dating. It's useless beyond, and probably even before that. There are other methods for it.
Evolution is a fact, deal with it.
