Abraham knew that God would:

A: Stop him from actually killing his son.
or
B: Resurrect his son so that His promise to Abraham could be fulfilled.

Argument (and failed joke) invalid.

There is a little flaw in your reasoning yuri

If abraham knew that God would stop him it would have nullified the test and would have shown god to be impotent. In other words not all powerful and lying to humanity.

and if god resurrected his son it would have shown god has to sometimes reverse actions- which shows he makes miskakes, which would show he ins neither all knowing or all powerful.

and if god is all knowing he would not need to test Abraham because he would already know the results nullifing the need for the test- which would show he is either
A. not all powerful and all knowing, and a fraud because he is not all he claims
or
B. a major ******* and malevolent

finally any beling that demands the sacrifice of a human being, specifically asking a father to kill there own child is a bastard- we have a name for those like that among humans- we call the sociopaths and war criminals. and yes god does ask for other instances of human sacrifice such as Judges 11:29-40 were he commands a man to murder and sacrifice his virgin daughter.
so you worship a sociopathic war criminal (if god was real, it isnt)

but all of this doesnt matter really does it? i mean its nothing but the crazy mythic ramblings of primative desert tribes from 2000yrs ago with no actual basis in reality.
