Hey let me me tell y'all my story why I hate Aircraft. I bet most people have heard of the game R.U.S.E. Well i was playing as the german faction against the British. So i had amassed some panzer IV's and 2 Tigers. Well they were rolling along and I had destroyed a secondary HQ. Them The AI went ballistic and sent all of their Fighter-Bombers and destroyed my army. Whenever I play a skirmish against the AI, they spam fighter-bombers EVERY TIME. There is no good mobile AA weapon except the Wirbelwind and prototype AA guns. But its always the fighter-bombers that stop my advances. Finally, in one match there was a huge town in the middle of the map, so i dropped some paratroopers(Yes, the para's were transported by planes)in the town, I controlled the town, and the enemies could not see them, that was good, so my ally's tanks could roll thru and not get destroyed by ambushes, and get to the enemy bases, but then, that all ended. One scout plane, one frikkin scout plane from the enemy flew over, then the enemy unleashed their artillery on my infantry, they all died, then enemy tanks rolled thru and destroyed me and my ally's base. so yeah i hate aircraft.
