This group has been formed to gather the people who enjoy Japanese anime and all of its facets, to salute the people from the land of the Rising Sun.

We do not want any ecchi or hentai images in the image gallery. Those that are posted will be removed. Also, take it easy in posting your entire collection of Naruto images. You should only share a few that you personally like. For the rest, people can always find them on their own. I recommend posting a link in your description (and every image should ideally contain a description).

Just started watching Lucky Star, after hearing it was "the anime for otaku/nerds".

I didn't think anything could weird me out any more, but the first episode definitely managed to. I was more confused at how 2/3 of it seemed to be absolutely boring, but other third showed clear ability to create comedy gold, than at anything else.

lucky star... hilarious slice-of-life anime, with a load of animes advertisement and references, especially haruhi.
weird anime, but got its own style. I think watching this anime can cause some lulz and facepalms.

Lucky Star is hilarious. It really is gold for people who wonder how other 'normal' Otaku and non-Otaku spend their days^^

Yeah, I loved the opening sketch about sports.

"You're so athletic, why don't you join the team?"

"Because then I'd miss all my prime-time anime shows."

The scene about getting cooped up inside a video game was pretty funny for me as well, because I'd actually spend most of that Saturday trying unsuccessfully to beat Left 4 Dead 2 on expert mode.

Most of the first episode was just a bunch of girls sitting around talking about food for about twenty minutes. I'm hoping that things will pick up as the series progresses...

Just watched Dead Space - Downfall...
it was ok. The usual kind that you expect from animès of games ( Street fighter or Devil may Cry ).

Is there a lot of necromorph backstory in there?

bloodstalker Dec 17 2009, 1:20am replied:

nah,it just explains how necromorphs got on board.
the story revolves around the ship's security team(if i'm not mistaken) and how they get chopped off to pieces one by one.

I like how one mining engineer was able to completely screw over hundreds of them, but a bunch of trained security officers just went down one by one.

I guess it's the suit?
