known in the USA as Chronicles of the Shadow Warriors as far as i know.
One of my all time favourite Animés =D
The protagonists awakens with no recall to his past. He cannot even remember his name. He is found by a girl named Eruruw, an apprentice Healer. Slowly the story unfolds as The protagonists takes part in a huge revolution and ultimately arises to emperor. Yet the story goes on....
Watch it! It's worth it =D
