Gray Fullbuster is a survivor of an attack by an immortal demon named deliora on his city. After being found by a wizard named Ul, he was taught by ul how to use ice magic, though he kept saying to Ul to teach him something powerful so he could defeat deliora, until one day, he decided to go on his own an defeat deliora himself. Ul couldn't let that happen since she knew that Gray was too weak to fight deliora himself, so she decided to seal away deliora using an extremely powerful ice magic called the Iced Shell, which would destroy the body of the caster once used, so Ul died while sealing away deliora.
Gray is Natsu's worst rival in Fairy tail. each time they met one of the two would pick a fight. Gray specializes in Creation type ice magic (there are 2 types of magic: creation type: making inanimate objects with ice and using them as weapons, and the other type is creating living things with ice for the same purpose, the difference is the caster can direct the attacks of his creations).
sorry, gray's mastery is ice magic, not fire...
and he has a weird habit of stripping o.O
one thing i dont get is..why he always take his clothes off xD
lol i thinks its a habit from when he used to take off his clothes in the cold to get used to the cold during training.

yep. during his first training with ul, he was told to strip his clothes of he wanted to be ab;e to master ice magic.
