So yea its a awesome n funny 3D pic of a tachikoma multiped light tank from the anime GITS AKA Ghost in the Shell.
NOTE b4 any idiot comments this is anime related as what sain otaku hasn't dreamed of having & or seeing a tachikoma in real life ;3

As an engineer I am also looking at this concept as it may yield some potential as a multi purpose light recon tank suited for dense urban environments.
For all intensive purposes the idea of a 4-6 legged walker certainly quite feasible with today's technology & as an added bonus could also be relatively cheap when compared to next gen. modern weapons of war.
from Gits:SAC, you mean. they weren't present in Mamoru Oshii's Ghost in the Shell.
(and also weren't present in the manga for that matter)
