Truly when on this earth was it the best time for humans to be alive? When was progression happening, peace prevalent, and people just seemed better?...

I am curious what people think is better: Spear, War Hammer, or Axe.

it would depend on the situation.

Spear if i as facing cavalry

Warhammer if i was facing armored opponents (it is HARD! to pierce armor with a sword, But crushing armor is easy, and the armor may also hinder the knight as the bent plates cut the knight)

The axe would not be useful much, although the axe would be usefull for the creation of wooden palisades as an axe will cut wood. (romans did This, mixing a pickaxe and an axe into a multiple tool/weapon)

I think the spear is better because it gives you more range, you can throw it, and it just looks cool.

close combat with these weapons is a hell lot scarier than shooting it out with the enemy! fighting is close and personal and much more physical than shooting the enemy down. just imagine the courage, stamina, and endurance needed to fight against multiple opponents trying to quarter, bash, skewer, you.

Shooting a gun at a moving target can be rather difficult however. But yes, i see your point
