Disney isnt looking so bad now is it? they prevented TCW from further ******* anything up and they're giving us another Battlefront game. Also they're re-releasing the original unaltered version of the Original Trilogy
Better wait for the sequels before judging that.

thats all i know and so far that all complys with EU. and seeing what disney did with Avengers, and the first Pirates of the Caribbean Movie, im confident that the movies wont butcher the franchise. plus JJ Abrams is a HUGE star wars fan, ive seen him interviewed in many star wars documentaries. he knows what the fans want and he knows what will happen if he doesn't deliver.
I have confident in Ep VII, but I think Harrison Ford leaving the cast, it has got to be something bad that made him leave.
It's probably because they tried to get him to have a scene that implies Marriage to Carrie Fisher. That might be it. Have you SEEN Carrie Fisher?
LOL, anyway I think they are both too old for such a scene. And Fisher is so fat.
yeah but as said in the Family Guy episode Blue Harvest when Peter Entered as Han Solo "...and I'm the only one who's acting career won't be destroyed by these movies"
again who cares. just be happy that the original cast will be back. and do you really think Leia could have kept her figure after plopping out Jason, Jiana,and Anakin?
I care, I just hate those stupid stories about dozens of Skywalkers. I really wish those will be overwritten.
are you talking about Cade? because if so im sorry to break it to you but they're in the Legacy Era whitch takes place nearly 300 years after Endor. the new trilogy will be set in the New Republic era.

I have no problem with Cade. It's just that I felt it too repititive that this Skywalker falls to the Dark side, this returns and redeemed. This desert and become bounty hunter. I'm talking about the whole EU after ROTJ.
are you talking about the solo children? because they will most likely be a focal point in the next trilogy
Yeah, but I actually mean both Solo and Skywalker children. I don't like the Solo children but I'm ok with it. Luke getting married is too much.

It all depends on opinion. Those EU excluding Thrawn after ROTJ aren't awesome at all. Same goes with some existing CW EU ; Durge, Decimator to name a few.

first of all EVERY star wars fan that ive ever met loves anything Post-ROTJ. If you don't like it then your either a hipster trying to stay away from what every one else likes or you have no sense of good story telling.
second of all when you combine all the media in the CWMMP you get a far more deep and intricate story than TCW. yeah the miniseries alone doesn't stack up against TCW but when you combine it with the comics, novels, and video games you get impeccable stories as Anakin faces hi jedi trials through whatever the clone war throws at him,and through his experiences he grows into a stronger less whiny person. not to mention the hundreds of other story arcs for minor characters such as Quinlan Vos, Bariss Offee, Jan Dondonna, Windu and more.
in TCW anakin starts off as a knight, leaving very little wiggle room for character progression so anakin stays a bit static throughout the series. this would have been fine if they left the show in its original position on the timeline which was 19BBY after anakins knighting. when they moved it to 22BBY, that's when things became screwed up. as for the minor characters, yes TCW does have a few episodes now and then centered on these characters, however,rather than creating new stories for them, they just rewrote their stories altogether.
I cant wait fr TCW to be replaced with something worse then TCW was so i can hear you complain and see you feel what I and many others like me felt when TCW replaced the CWMMP.
I hope they won't add TCW units in the new battlefront game :( (Ashoka, Cyber-Maul, supertank)
They won't, DICE doesn't do that stuff.
Only thing I want from TCW in the Battlefront is the Y-Wings.
